The DanceSource merged with Ballet Arts of Forest Hills in 2006 (a school which had been in Rego Park since 1975), bringing together two strong ballet programs to the community. The DanceSource provides its students with a solid base of dance technique. Classes are offered by professional dancers, many coming from some of the best studios and dance companies that New York City has to offer - including Broadway Dance Center, Steps Studio of New York City, Alvin Ailey Dance Company and American Ballet Theater. Our skilled teachers bring their craft to The DanceSource, sharing their talents and professional training with our young dancers. We offer pre dance for dancers aged 2 1/2. For dancers age 3-4, we offer Ballet pre-dance, Tap and Gymnastics. For dancers 4 through 12, we offer Ballet, Tap and Gymnastics. For older dancers, we offer Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Modern dance, Hip-Hop, Gymnastics, Tap, Egyptian Belly dance, Hatha Yoga, Arti Jujitsu Martial Arts, Georgian Dance, Zumba, Ballroom, Indian Barata Naytham, Bollywood dance, and more.
SUMMER FUN – PROGRAMS & CLASSES – PRINT GUIDE
Do something fun and exciting this summer by thinking out of the box! Have you ever tried a dance class? Why not come for a short summer session, when classes are so affordable! One hour per week for five weeks is only $75 (that's only $15/hour!) The DanceSource summer classes will run from Fri. July 5-Thurs. August 8, and we have classes every day of the week.
