Honey Bunch Kids is a licensed private European style pre-school and daycare dedicated to quality education. Through our language immersion program your child will develop a strong self-confidence. We provide a safe, clean, and caring environment. Education We make learning fun! Each day we practice our alphabet, numbers, and cognitive skills using books, worksheets, science experiments, and interactive games. We follow a creative bilingual curriculum allowing children to learn at their own pace and develop a set of interests. Each day we hold a reading circle, art class, and music class. During our lessons, we break into smaller groups for greater individual attention. We balance structured class time with monitored free-play periods, which are vital for a child’s imagination, independence, and social skills to develop. Language Immersion We are a German language pre-school, speaking German throughout the entire day. Our teachers are fluent and native speakers from Germany and Austria. Currently enrolled children are both native speakers (one or both parents speak German at home) as well as students who practice on their own. Learning a second language leads to higher test scores and advanced reading skills. To reinforce the philosophy, we offer a French program. Individual and group language lessons are available for after school students during the week and/or on Saturdays. A Home Away From Home We’ve been a part of the community for over 23 years. Our staff is First Aid and CPR certified. In addition, our staff attends mandatory training classes to study the most updated policies, regulations, and practices in early childcare and education. We provide a nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snack. Weather allowing, we spend lots of time in our enclosed outdoor playground. Our afterschool program includes homework help, snack and if requested, language lessons. We welcome children ages 16 months through pre-k. We are open Monday- Friday, 7am-6pm. Enrollment is ongoing depending on availability. Please call in advance to schedule a tour.
