QPS has a limited number of open spots for the 2013-2014 school year. Information is available through attending a Saturday open house or an information session/tour held on select Wednesday mornings. Our next information session will be on February 13 at 9 a.m.

QPS was founded by Dr. Francis Mechner, who first implemented this approach at the Armonk Paideia School in 1969. All members of our faculty hold master's degrees or PhDs. QPS has a K-12 charter from the NY State Board of Regents. We are located in the Long Island City Arts Center, a cultural campus that provides students with unparalleled exposure to the worlds of music, dance, art, and theater.
